Just a quick update on the status of things here at MacGregor. For starters, I still haven't taken the time to find out the proper way to spell "MacGregor".
KIMT will be spending some time with us in about a week. Hopefully they will have some good reports as they'll be here just in time for the start of a company-wide training operation that will be simulating real life missions we'll have overseas. From what we keep hearing from instructors it should be pretty cool.
My platoon finished up our HET training today. Should officially be receiving our licenses soon, and it feels good to have yet another portion of training behind us instead of ahead. The past two nights we have had Base Defense training in addition to our HET training so we haven't had much time to ourselves (or for sleeping/writing). If all goes well tomorrow we will have a chance to finish up any loose ends in training or in home matters...looking forward to it as I have a very important package to send to North Iowa.
Other than that not much really going on this week. Our trip overseas is getting closer than what it was when we first got here a month ago (which is starting to feel like an eternity).
Hope everyone is being safe.
