Just want to wish everyone back home a safe and happy Fourth of July.Here are a few things you can do to help remember those who are currently serving in uniform while you enjoy the holiday with family and friends:
If you indulge in adult beverages, have one for the troops overseas who are not allowed to.
Take a moment to tell a veteran "hello".
Fly the flag.
If you have a BBQ, have an extra steak for us. Real beef (you know, any beef from Iowa) and sweet corn are non-existent over here.
Have fun while watching the fireworks...and if you'd like to send us some pictures of them that would be swell ;)
Other than that, just appreciate those around you and all the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. Too often we tend to forget how good we have it compared to other nations.

I would just like to say Thank You to you and everyone else in uniform for the freedoms that we have. Most don't realize what life would be like without those freedoms. Everyone stay safe!
