So I've been thinking lately (not too hard though as it still hurts n causes smoke to rise from my ears) that as much as my soon-to-be-released article got good reviews, and a lot of people enjoyed how I chronicled Operation Groundhog Day Turn-Around, that Mason City, and Iowa in general, have a lot to offer that people probably don't realize. This has lead me to kick around the idea of blogging in the "serious" style about places I've been/will go to in the area. I wouldn't be writing about it here (this is the deployment blog after all) but on another blog I'd set up.
What I'm curious about is if anyone out there would be interested in reading what I'd be writing about. What do you think? Should I give it a try writing about Iowa in a more serious/less personal way than I've written here? Please, let me know.
